Cecile A. Gannon
Former Raytheon & Tewksbury School Department employee
TEWKSBURY: Cecile A. Gannon, age 60, a longtime Tewksbury resident, passed away at home on Friday, July 1, 2022.
She was the devoted mother of Christopher J. Kerr, of Winthrop.
Born in Boston on July 12, 1961, she was the beloved daughter of Helen (Dodakin) Gannon, of Tewksbury and the late Thomas R. Gannon, who passed away on February 27, 2019.
Cecile was raised in Tewksbury and attended Tewksbury Public schools.
She was employed by the Raytheon Corporation for over 20 years and most recently worked for the Tewksbury Public School lunch program.
Cecile enjoyed reading, listening to music, and spending time with her family.
She had a warm outgoing personality and was always there for her family and friends to lend a helping hand.
In addition to her son and mother, she is survived by her brothers, Thomas Gannon of Methuen, Daniel Gannon and his wife Amanda, of Gulf Breeze, FL, Clifford Gannon and his wife Melissa, of Lowell, Gerald Gannon and his wife Sherry, of Tewksbury: her sister, Pamela Campbell, of Dracut. She leaves many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 12, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Interment of her ashes will be Wednesday, July 13, at 10 a.m. at Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury.
