FALL RIVER - Olivia (Medeiros) Albergaria, age 67, residence 205 Fountain St., Fall River, MA, died Thursday at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of Manuel S. Albergaria. She is survived by two Sons: Tom Albergaria of San Antonio, Texas and David Albergaria of Fall River, MA, one Brother: Edward Medeiros of Fall River, MA, two Sisters: Mary Kilby and Judy Medeiros both of Fall River, MA, two Grandsons and one Granddaughter, two Great Granddaughters and several nieces and nephews.
Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, the daughter of the late Julio Medeiros and the late Inez (Perreira) Medeiros. She was a Fall River resident for 60 years. Before retiring, she was a Sewing Machine Operator and Factory Worker in the local garment industry in Fall River. She was a member and Eucharistic Minister of the former St. Louis Church. She was also a current parishioner and Eucharistic Minister of St. Mary Cathedral.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St. on Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Cathedral, Second St., Fall River at 10:00 A.M.
