Mary Lou "Mickey" Larramendy passed away peacefully on July 1, 2022. Mary Lou was a lifelong Ventura County resident, born on June 4, 1929 in Oxnard, California to Selma and Grant Foster.
She married Bob Larramendy in 1949 at Santa Clara Church, Oxnard. Bob and Mary Lou moved their young family to Ojai in 1960. Mary Lou was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church for over 60 years. The greatest joys of her life were her family, her faith, her friends, and good times at the craps table.She was preceded in death by Bob in 1995, her parents, her brother Walter, and her sister Addie. Her love carries on by her children: Peter (Meg), Mark (Ramona), John (Carmaryn), Lisa (Larry Rose), Maria Baker (Ken); her grandsons: Nathan (Nic), Luke and Peter Larramendy, Brandan Baker (Molly), Austin Baker, Brad Hudson (Paul); her granddaughters: Tonya Peralta (John), Brit and Alex Larramendy; her great grandchildren: Ethan and Owen Peralta, Levi Baker, and Brezlynn Larramendy; and her Goddaughter, Gwen Books.
A Funeral Mass and a Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Ojai. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mary Lou’s memory to St Thomas Aquinas Parish. Arrangements are under the direction of the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, Ventura.
