Constance T. (Dube) France, 91, of Westport, peacefully passed away at home on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Henry E. France Jr.
Mrs. France was born in Syracuse, NY, daughter of the late Romeo and Alice (Gagne) Dube and was raised in Fall River. She attended Duke University and worked for years as a registered nurse at Truesdale Hospital in Fall River, MA. Following retirement, she relocated to Naples, FL and summered in Westport. Mrs. France has a 140 plus year family legacy in the Town of Westport. She was a gourmet cook and an avid golfer who enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Marco Rubio France. She will be remembered as being a wonderful mother, grandmother and mother-in-law.
Survivors include her 4 sons: Gary P. France and his wife Anne of Westport, Robert France of Wakefield, NH, David France and Stephen France; 5 grandchildren: Sara Jane, Stephanie, Kayley, Gabrielle and Aimee; and her great granddaughter: Amalia Rose.
