Angelina M. (Venditti) D'Onofrio, age 97, of Medford passed away on Saturday, July 2nd. Raised and educated in Boston’s North End and Medford, she was the daughter of the late Arturo and Maria Venditti. Family was most important to Angelina, and she lovingly raised five children for whom she cooked and even sewed clothing.
Angelina was the beloved wife of the late Ugo A. D’Onofrio, and the devoted mother of Arlene Crestuk and her husband Joseph, Bernard D'Onofrio and his wife Brenda, Carolyn Joy and her husband Paul, Diane D'Onofrio, and Jeannette D'Onofrio and her husband Jerome. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph, Jason, Leanna, Daniel, Michael, Robert, Acadia, Alex and Kate, and a loving great grandmother of eight. Angelina was predeceased by her siblings, Tony, John, Frankie, Phil, Andy and Vera, and is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, July 9th at 10:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High St., Medford, at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Friday, July 8th, from 4 through 6 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent in Angelina’s name to a charity of One's choice.
