Jean Ann (Daddario) Taddeo passed away peacefully in her home in Franklin after a long illness. Even though Jean fought multiple cancers over several decades, overcoming many daunting obstacles, she always had a positive attitude and beautiful spirit.
Born March 16, 1942, the daughter of the late Joseph and Elda (Scatolini) Daddario, Jean was a resident of Franklin all of her life.
She was a 1959 graduate of Franklin High School then attended the Boston School of Dental Nursing, graduating in 1961.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 58 years Ronald Taddeo of Franklin. Jean is also survived by her beloved brother John (Jack) Daddario Sr and his wife Marie of Franklin, her sister-in-law Pat, wife of her late beloved brother Joseph Daddario Jr of Uxbridge, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. Jean is also survived by several close cousins and many friends who she truly cherished and with whom she shared many fabulous and happy adventures.
Jean could always be found with her two brothers Jack and Joe, going out to lunch or just having tea together -laughter and love being an essential part of their special bond. At home she enjoyed the company of many well-loved pets including several Collies, all named Laddie, Yorkshire terriers, an African grey parrot Jake, a Painted horse Lorado, a rabbit and a lamb.
Jean worked as an invaluable dental assistant and office manager for over 60 years for several dentists including Dr Vena, Dr Lockwood and Dr Palioca.
Anyone who knew Jean was profoundly inspired by her kind heart, generosity, thoughtfulness and love of animals, but particularly her strength to overcome adversity and remain focused on life’s blessings. Her passing is a great loss to us all and she will be sorely missed.
