CHICOPEE – Christine Marie Johnson, 55, of the Aldenville section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, June 29, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Ware, Massachusetts on July 28, 1966, a beloved daughter of Barbara A. (Szloch) Johnson of Ware and the late David E. Johnson. She was raised in Ware, graduated from Ware High School and had moved to Aldenville in 2000 where she lived the remainder of her life. She was employed as a Hygienist Coordinator at Holyoke Dental in Holyoke. During her leisure time, she enjoyed reading, keeping her home very tidy and going on cruises. Above all, she was a loving partner, mother, daughter and friend who showered her family and friends with her love and affection that was returned to her a thousand fold. She leaves her beloved partner and soul mate of 23 years, Mark A. Roe; her loving son, Connor D. Roe of Chicopee; her loving mother and father, Barbara A. Johnson and her husband, Donald E. Detreault, of Ware; and her many dear aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members and friends. She will also be deeply missed by her two beloved feline companions, her cats Boots and Ozzie. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her loving brother, Eric D. Johnson who was Called Home on July 21, 2019. Her Funeral Services and Burial will be private.
