Darrel Philip Young, 65, of Millville died suddenly June 27. He was the husband of Lynne A. (Bamberry) Young.
Born in Boston, June 20,1957, the son of the late Harold and Pauline (Chaperone)Young, Mr. Young was raised in Dorchester, Massachusetts and lived in Millville for the past 3 years.
Darrel was a talented carpenter who worked out of Local 33 for many years.
He enjoyed making creative gifts for many of his loved ones. He also loved spending time with his son repairing Harley Davidsons in the Hog Shop.
Other hobbies that Darrel enjoyed were fishing, skiing and playing the guitar.
He was a very loving husband, father and most of all grandfather. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
In a addition to his wife he is survived by his son Cole Young and his Girlfriend Christine Kelleher of Millville.
He is also survived by his siblings, David, Leonard, Harold, Tammy, Shirlee, Lorraine, Annette, Deborah, Darlene, Barbara, Loretta and Denice. He was the brother of the late Craig and Douglas Young.
He is also survived by his granddaughter Madison Young.
His celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 14 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin from 4-7 p.m.
