Inga Maevsky (nee Klopsch) passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at the age of 87. Born in
Berlin, Germany, Inga emigrated to the United States in 1960 with her husband and son. They initially
settled in Brighton, MA and eventually moved to Brookline, MA where Inga resided the rest of her life.
Inga first worked at Howard Johnson, spent many years working at the Hyatt, and after her retirement,
spent her winters in West Palm Beach, FL.
Inga had a passion for traveling, loved music, volunteering at the German Club, and cherished her time
spent with family and friends.
Inga was predeceased by her husband Anthony, mother Anna, and sister Charlotte. Surviving are her son
and daughter-in-law Andrew and Caroline of Hamilton, NJ, grandson Alexander, granddaughter Erica,
cousins, and many dear friends, near and afar.
The family thanks all of those involved with Inga’s care; the many visits, phone calls, gifts, prayers, and
love.
A small funeral gathering will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in
Bourne, MA at 1:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to a charity of your choice.
