Patricia J. (Camillo) MacDow, age 69, of Foxborough, passed away on Monday, June 27, 2022 at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. She was beloved wife of the late Robert MacDow and the late John Doucette.
Born in Boston, MA on September 4, 1952, she was a loving daughter of Joan J. (Festa) Camillo of Plainville and the late Louis P. Camillo, Sr.
Patty grew up in Avon and was a graduate of Avon High School. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family and had also worked in the shipping and receiving department at Acorn Manufacturing in Mansfield.
A resident of Foxborough for the past seventeen years, she had previously resided in Norton. Her family was her greatest gift in life, especially her son Chris. Patty’s hobbies included taking rides in her car and dining out. She will always be remembered for having a “sweet tooth” for ice cream and strawberry cake and the place she held special in her heart for animals.
In addition to her mother, she was the devoted mother of Christopher J. Doucette and his wife Samantha of Milford, New Hampshire and the late Keri A. O’Hara. She was the cherished girlfriend of Harry Freedman of Foxborough and Newton. She was the loving grandmother of Colin O’Hara. She was the dear sister of Louis P. Camillo, Jr. and his wife Ellen of Taunton and the treasured aunt of Jennifer M. Romano and her husband Jason of Whitman.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Saturday, July 2nd from 4:00-7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A funeral service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 7:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers. Patty’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Mansfield Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 25, Mansfield, MA 02048.
