Mildred P. (Novi) Moropito, age 97, of Medford passed away on Saturday, June 25th, at Massachusetts General Hospital of Boston. A lifelong Medford, resident, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Louise (Nazzaro) Novi. Mildred was very kind, easy going and selfless, always putting others first. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Those who knew her will also remember how much she loved her cookies and sweets!
Mildred was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas J. Moropito, and a devoted mother to Marie Connor and her husband Richard of Medford, and the late Joseph and Paul Moropito. She was the loving grandmother of Nicole Cavicchi and her husband Trenton, Joelle Huot and her husband Gerry, all of New Hampshire, Joseph Connor and his wife Tania of Winchester, David Connor and his wife Ana, and Stephen Connor and his fiancée Montoya, all of Malden. Mildred was the loving great grandmother of Ella, Gaven, Emilia, Jace, Eleanora, Andrew and Emma, and dear sister to Edward Novi of Medford and the late Phyllis Linehan and her late husband Frederick.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden, on Wednesday, June 29th at 11:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford from 9 AM through 11 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
