Nangle, Jean Marie (Kiley) of Wellesley, June 23, 2022. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Nangle Jr. Devoted mother of Paul Nangle and his wife Paige of Newtown PA. and Karen Nangle of Mashpee, MA. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Ashley, Liam and Moli.
Jean attended Boston University on a Scholarship and worked at WBZ as an executive secretary in media services. Jean was an avid and accomplished bridge player and enjoyed many years playing with her dear friends at the Charles River Country Club in Newton as well as a determined golfer, also serving as the President of the Charles River Women's Golf Association. She was a diehard New England sports fan and golf enthusiast, always routing for her teams and players with great vigor.
Jean was a beautiful soul, she shared her wisdom, insight and love of life with all she interacted with.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16) Wellesley on Wednesday, June 29 at 9am to 10:30am followed by a funeral Mass in St. Paul Church, Wellesley at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Old Calvary Cemetery, Mattapan.
