Beatrice Marie Young AKA Gram-Gram Bea or Queen Bea was called home by our Lord on June 21, 2022. She was born in New York to William and Elsie Dobler on June 9, 1930.
She is survived by Keith & Ana Young, Kenneth & Terri Young, Diane Cole, Linda Young, Deborah Heckman and her 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Preceded in Death by her son Paul Young and her husband Donovan K. Young.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading, baking, gardening but most of all spending time with her grandkids. Bea was dedicated to the Navy Marine Core Relief Society for 16 years. She received awards for her service which totaled 5000 hours for knitting baby blankets. The city of Port Hueneme recognized her for her services to military members, retirees, and their families. Bea was kind hearted, loving, supportive, encouraging, hardworking and a good friend to many. Those who met her adored her. She showed everyone love especially her family, each one has an Afghan made with love to remember her by. She was always willing to listen, give great advice and tell stories. She is our loss but God's gain.
Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 2, 2022 in the JOSEPH P. REARDON FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICE, 757 East Main Street, Ventura.
