Ruth Virginia (Morse) Landry, 96, of Medway died June 21 in the Blaire House of Milford after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Lawrence J. Landry who died in October, 2020.
Born in Hyde Park, Ruth had lived in Medway for over 70 years.
She had been a secretary in the guidance department of the Medway School system.
Ruth loved to read was happiest when she had a book in her hand.
She is survived by her sons, Peter L. Landry and his partner Denise Radkowski of Littleton, Michael J. Landry and his wife Elizabeth (“Lisa”) of Blackstone, Steven J. Landry and his husband Michael Mashtare of State College, PA and James E. Landry and his husband John McDonnell of Truro.
She is also survived by her daughters, Susan C. Hanlon of Taunton, Nancy E. Wood and her husband Guile of Mendon and Jean M. Ostergren and her husband Bryan of Woonsocket, RI.
She was the sister to 10 brothers and sisters who have passed.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nikki Murphy, Melissa Walls, Robert St. Jean, Rebecca Huston, Meaghan Wood, Christopher Landry, Caitlin Deryck, Sarah Landry, Jason Landry, Ryan Landry, Emily Hanlon, Lee Landry Mashtare and the late Kelly Hanlon.
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Cloey & Dillan Murphy, Aidan & Lorelei Walls, Flynn and Mackenzie Ruth Deryck, Everly & Max Landry, and Adriana St. Jean.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, June 27 in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, 59 Oakland St., Medway.
Calling hours will be on Sunday, June 26 from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
