Frances A. "Peaches" Hall, a 63 year resident of Somerville and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston. She was 81 years of age.
Frances was born in Boston on October 11, 1940, a daughter of the late Patrick McGonagle and Helen (Canny) McGonagle. She grew up in Charlestown where she educated at St. Mary's Parochial School and Charlestown High School. Frances was a homemaker most of her adult life where she dedicated herself to her husband, 3 children and 3 grandchildren. She was a warm and giving person who enjoyed her extended family especially her siblings along with her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed playing bingo and having her chocolate covered ice cream.
Frances is the beloved wife of the late Mark A. Hall. She is the devoted mother of Karen Hall, Mark Hall and Michelle Hall. She is the loving Grandmother to Mark Hall Jr., Jennifer Hall and Matthew Kelley. She is the beloved sister of Eileen Fleming and the late Anne Greatorex, Sadie Fallon, Marjorie Carr, Mary Hickey, Joseph McGonagle, Patrick McGonagle, Philip McGonagle and John McGonagle. She is also survived by her many loving nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dog Finn.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Frances's Funeral Mass on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
