WORCESTER - Gloria T. (Dumas) Kaczynski, 88, of Worcester died peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022, at UMass Memorial Hospital, University Campus. Her husband of forty- three years, Stephen Kaczynski died in 2014.
She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Lorusso, her husband Anthony and their daughter Brooklyn; her friends Rosie Milhem and Sue Gillis along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her seven siblings, Robert and Donald Dumas, sisters, Sr. Doris Dumas, Muriel Dunford, Anita Burque, her twin sister Jeanne Gervais and Dolores Dumas. She was born in Worcester and lived here her whole life. She was the daughter of Theodore and Eva (Breault) Dumas.
Mrs. Kaczynski graduated from the former St. Stephens’ High School. She worked for many years at Thom McAn company and later at A J Wright’s prior to retirement. Gloria enjoyed bingo with her twin, always splitting the pot if either of them won, she also went to Foxwood’s casinos. She enjoyed traveling with her family, Maine was a favorite. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Church.
Visitation in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St. will be on Monday, June 20, 2022, from 5:00PM to 7:00 PM. The funeral will be held with a Mass at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward St. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
