Susan Jean Gallagher passed away peacefully in her sleep with her daughter by her side on June 9th, 2022.
Born on January 19th, 1956 in Nashua, NH to Jack Marshall Gallagher and Irene (Fournier) Gallagher. She was one of 5 siblings in the family. In her youth she attended High Mowing School in Wilton, NH.
Susan was an artistic person and an incredible cook. She always had the ability to create something beautiful out of nothing. She loved being outside, and she took pride in the gardens she kept.
Everything she did in life, she did it fiercely. Especially the way she loved. She lived life on her own terms. Later in life Susan struggled with addiction and finally succumbed to that after more than a decade estrangement from friends and family. In the final months of her life, Susan was able to see those closest to her and give her the chance to reconcile and get closure. Susan was grateful to have had that opportunity to do so, and this brought Susan great peace in her final days.
Susan leaves behind many people who loved her including her daughter Sarakate Shoemaker and her husband Joshua Geno. Grandsons; Joshua Shoemaker, Jaxson Mims, Wyatt Fabbo, Henry Fabbo, Jacob Geno. Great grand daughter Emma Shoemaker. Her brothers Scott and Mark Morneau and sister Sandra Parker. Along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and life long friends. Susan is predeceased by her parents Jack and Irene, as well as her brother Thomas.
A gathering to remember Susan will be held this Saturday, June 18th from 10am-12pm at 157 Union Street Milford, NH.
