Rosalie (Carcia) Romagna, lifelong resident of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, June 12th. She was 90. Born and raised in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Pietro and Clementina (Trecento) Carcia. Rosalie had a prosperous career for over 20 years working in the banking industry.
Rosalie’s biggest passion was her family. She especially loved her children, grandchildren and extended family. Rosalie’s family were her pride and joy; they were her world. She was a devoted wife, a dedicated mother, loving Grammy and Nanni, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her. When Rosalie was not spending time with her family, she enjoyed reading, and planning trips to Italy, New York and Washington DC.
Rosalie was the devoted mother of Mark Romagna and his wife Julie of Winchester, and Stephen Romagna and his wife Annette of Belmont. She was the loving Grammy of Andy, Alison and Matthew, and the loving Nanni of Christopher and Dana. She was the dear sister of the late Mary Trevisone, Vinnie Damian, Tony Carcia and Paul Carcia.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with the family on Thursday, June 16th from 9 to 11 AM at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine Of Genoa Church, 179 Summer St., Somerville, at 11:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
