Michael T. DeGrasse, beloved husband and loving father, 36 years old of Bridgewater MA, passed away on June 10th, 2022. He passed away surrounded by his devoted wife Tiffany and his family after a courageous battle with melanoma.
Mike was born April 23, 1986 in Dorchester, MA to Thomas and Elaine DeGrasse. He grew up in Abington, MA.
From an early age, Mike was a natural athlete and played soccer, baseball, hockey and golf. Mike was easy-going, friendly, kind to everyone, and an all-around great person. He could always make everyone laugh with his quick wit and jokes. Mike was a Business Analyst and a dedicated employee at Advisor360.
When Mike met Tiffany, they both knew they had met the love of their lives. Being with Tiffany, he adopted her love of Disney. So much so that they got engaged in and honeymooned there. They were happily married for eight and a half years and were blessed with three beautiful children; Jordan (age 6), Adelaide (age 4) and Rory (age 1). Their two boys, Jordan and Rory, were of course named after famous golfers. Golf was Mike’s passion, but his greatest love was for his family. Mike would always set his tee time very early in the morning so that he would not miss spending the day with Tiffany and their children. He was the most amazing dad and was his children’s biggest fan; always cheering them on at every game even on days when it was extremely difficult.
When asked, his biggest accomplishment was “getting Tiffany to marry me,” and said his three greatest achievements in life were his children, Jordan, Adelaide and Rory.
In addition to his loving wife Tiffany DeGrasse (LaRosa), and their three children; Jordan, Adelaide and Rory DeGrasse, Michael is survived by his parents, Thomas and Elaine DeGrasse of Abington MA, his sister, Lauren Curto and her husband James, his sister, Christine DeGrasse and his brother Timothy DeGrasse, all of Abington MA. He was a cherished uncle of Thomas Curto. Beloved son-in-law of Michael and Susan LaRosa of East Bridgewater, brother-in-law to Michael LaRosa and his wife Jill LaRosa, and Jessica Nichols-LaRosa. He is also survived by his loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visiting hours on Thursday June 16th from 4-7PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Route 58 at the rotary), Whitman MA. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation in Mike’s name.
