Rose M. Corella
Devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother
TEWKSBURY: Rose M. (Doucette) Corella, age 79, a resident of Tewksbury for 27 years, formerly of Wakefield, Stoneham and Reading, passed away with her loved one’s by her side on Thursday, June 9, 2022.
She was the beloved wife of the late Richard A. Corella, who passed away on January 18, 1997.
Born in Boston on September 22, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Peter Doucette and the late Mildred (Moore) Doucette.
Rose was raised in Wakefield and Stoneham and attended local schools.
She was employed for many years by Dustbusters Cleaning Company of Reading until retiring in 2009. She loved her job and the many nice people she met while employed by Dustbusters.
In her spare time, Rose enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search games, shopping and traveling with her late husband. In addition, Rose was an avid Boston sports fan and particularly enjoyed following and cheering for the New England Patriots.
Rose is survived by her daughters, Maureen E. Doucette, of Wakefield, Rhonda L. Baudanza and her husband James, of Phoenix, AZ, Cheryl L. Duncan, of Reading, Joann M. Nagle, of East Hampstead, NH, and Kelly A. Connerty, of Tewksbury: twelve grandchildren, Angela M Mendes and her husband Anthony, of Londonderry NH, Nicole Crosby and her husband Richard, of Reading, Robert Duncan, of Reading, Joseph Duncan, of Reading, Alicia Baudanza, of Phoenix AZ, Thomas Hrynowski, of Wakefield, James Baudanza, of Phoenix AZ, Daniel Duncan, of Reading, Jimmy Nagle, of Lexington, Kentucky, Amanda Nagle, of Lexington, Kentucky, Richard Corella, of Merrimac, and Kyle Marrocco, of Tewksbury: thirteen great grandchildren: two brothers, James P. Doucette and his wife Judy, of Ashland and Richard F. Fanauf and his wife Diane, of Melrose: one sister, Carol A. Malonson, of Wakefield: many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 16, from 4-8 p.m. at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee Street, Tewksbury, immediately followed by a service at 8 p.m. to be held at the funeral home. A celebration of her life will be held on June 18th at 3:00pm 5 Glen Rd Merrimac Ma 01860
In lieu of flowers, Rose requested donations in her memory be made to the Cancer Center at Lowell General Hospital, 295 Varnum Avenue, Lowell, MA 01854.
