Goodwin, Edward “Ted” Of Dedham, on June 6, 2022 at age 94. Devoted son of the late Sarah (Shea) Goodwin of Cambridge. Ted is survived by his loving wife of almost 70 years Joan (Brennan) and children Nancy Goodwin of Dedham, Edward (Deborah) Goodwin of Niceville FL, Paula Goodwin of Kingston, Joanne (Tom) Levesque of Duxbury, Peter Goodwin of York, ME, John (Kelley Shannon) of Eldersburg MD, and Ellen (Kevin) Donovan of Canton. Ted was a proud grandfather of 14 and great-grandfather of 4. Brother of Gerald Goodwin of TX and the late Paul and John.
Ted spent over 40 years in management positions at New England Telephone/NYNEX. World War II Veteran, USMC.
Visiting hours will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Wilson-Cannon Funeral Home, 456 High St., Dedham on Sunday, June 12 from 3-7pm. His funeral will be held from the funeral home on Monday, June 13 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, Dedham at 10am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment in Brookdale Cemetery, Dedham.
