Jeanne E. Haskell, 63, of Worcester passed away Tuesday, June 7th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. She leaves two daughters, Kaitlyn Haskell of Virginia and Meghan Haskell of Ashland; a brother, Stephen MacDonald of Woburn; two sisters, Lee MacDonald of Woburn and Jean Goodall of Paxton; a niece and four nephews.
She was born in Arlington, the daughter of Charles and Patricia (Hughes) MacDonald. Jeanne worked for Leggett & Platt as a shipping & receiving clerk. She was an avid fan of the Bruins, Patriots, WooSox and the Worcester Rugby Team. The Cape was like a second home to Jeanne, where she could often be found on the beaches of Dennis Port. She enjoyed volunteering for local veteran associations. Jeanne had a passion for animals and fostered Cunucu dogs from Aruba. She had an active social life and her infectious smile would light up the room. Jeanne enjoyed travelling to different music venues, especially to see her favorite local band, Clamdigger.
Calling hours are Sunday, June 12th from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
