Mathilde Jean-Baptiste (74) of Brockton died June 6th at home under hospice care surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Maxi Millien.
She was born in Croix-Des-Bouquets, Haiti daughter of the late Dufresne Jean-Baptiste and Melanie Jean. Mathilde was a retired licensed practical nurse back in her home country of Haiti and was a member of the Brockton Church of God. She loved going to church, shopping, dressing up, cooking, listening to the radio, watching African movies and socializing with family and friends.
Mathilde is survived by 3 sons, Ojeda Millien, Luquessy Joseph and Fauster Joseph all of Brockton, her daughter Bethsaida Millien of Brockton, (mother of the late Ondayleine Colin), her brother Jean Roscold, 5 sisters, Naomi, Kettia, Natasha, Ferone and Sheila, 13 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Services in the Brockton Church of God, 80 Pleasant Street Brockton Saturday June 18th at 10 am. Burial to follow in Melrose Cemetery, 88 N Pearl Street Brockton. Viewing from 9 am prior to services.
