Mrs. Therese M. (Marchand) Lessard, 83, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital. The daughter of the late George and Laura (Proulx) Marchand, she was born in Dracut and had been an area resident all her life. Mrs. Lessard was a member of St. Michael Church in Lowell. She enjoyed spending time at the senior center and playing bingo on Wednesday. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Mrs. Lessard is the widow of Robert Lessard and was also predeceased by four sons: David, Joseph, Richard, and Norman Lessard. She is survived by two daughters: Theresa Lessard of Tucson, AZ, Elizabeth “Betty” and her husband Noel Murphy of Lowell, MA, two sons: Raymond Lessard and his wife Mary of Winter Springs, FL, and Ronald Lessard of Lowell, MA. There are many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a service in the chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, 96 Riverneck Rd., Chelmsford, MA. On June 10, 2022, at 10:00 am.
