HOLYOKE – Alice Marie Deprey, 67, of Holyoke, was Called Safely Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022. She passed into Eternal Life at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield surrounded by the care and comfort of her loving family. She was born in Holyoke on October 14, 1954, the beloved daughter of the late Leonard R. and Georgette M. (Dubois) Deprey. She was raised and educated in Holyoke and was a lifelong resident of the city. She was employed as a machine operator at the former Pratt and Austin Company and later at National Blank Book, now Avery-Dennison, all in Holyoke. She was a longtime communicant at the former Precious Blood Church in Holyoke. During her leisure time, Alice enjoyed sketching beautiful drawings of animals and was always ready to join in on a good game of cards with her family and friends. She leaves her loving and devoted siblings, Michael L. Deprey of West Springfield and Carol A. Morin of Chicopee; and her many dear nephews, nieces, cousins, numerous friends and extended family members. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved fiancé, Paul T. Renaud who was Called Home on September 16, 2008, her dear sister-in-law, Ida M. Deprey who was Called Home on January 30, 2008, and her dear brother-in-law, Albert L. Morin who was Called Home on May 16, 2020. Family and friends are invited to attend her Burial Service on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Notre Dame Cemetery, (Please meet directly at the cemetery), 63 Lyman Street, South Hadley, MA 01075.
