Worcester - Judith A. Westerberg (Harrison) of Worcester passed away peacefully on Monday June 6th in Knollwood Nursing Home.
Mrs. Westerberg was predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years, Wallace A. Westerberg. She leaves her daughter Donna Freitas and her husband Albert of Auburn; two sons, Richard Westerberg and his wife Cathy of East Longmeadow and Thomas Westerberg and his wife Jean of Wilmington; four grandchildren Jennifer Baker, Daniel Lane, Lauren Cutter, and Chelsey Westerberg; 5 great grandchildren Cody, Kaitlynn, Jesslynn, Jordan, Tori and their loving dog Bear.
Judith was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Lionel and Mary (Rushford) Harrison and spent most of her life living in the College Hill Neighborhood where she was surrounded by her family and friends. Judith worked at Assumption College in food services for many years and enjoyed spending summers with her family on Cape Cod.
The family would also like to thank the staff of the Knollwood Nursing Home for the exceptional care that was given to Judy.
Funeral services for Mrs. Westerberg will be held on Thursday, June 9 with calling hours from 9:00 am to 10:00 am in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St. Worcester. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. Roch’s Church 332 Main Street, Oxford celebrated by her cousin Rev. Michael Roy. Memorial contributions can be made to the Knollwood Nursing Home in memory of Judy.
