Viewing hours will be Thursday June 16, 2022 from 9-10 AM followed by a Funeral Service at 10 AM in the Joseph Russo Funeral Home, 814 American Legion Highway, Roslindale, Ma. Burial will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery 427 Cummins Highway, Roslindale, Ma.
Jedilia Marcellus was a sweet, beautiful, caring, humble and God loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. After suffering from a stroke on May 12th, 2022, The Lord has called her home on June 2nd, 2022, at age 96.
God has blessed Jedilia all her life but during her last days on earth God has shown us how big Jedilia’s faith was. After the doctors have told us that she wasn’t going to be able to do anything even speak until she passed, but the day before she went home to her father, Jedilia spoke clearly and thanked the Lord for all the blessings in her life and she said, “may your will be done my Lord.” Those were her last words.
Jedilia’s life is an example for all of us to live life to the fullest no matter what we’re going through. Even after losing her biological daughter, she was still dancing, singing, laughing and living life to the fullest.
On June 16th, 2022, we will be celebrating Jedilia’s life with family and close friends.
Her jokes, laughs and all her memories will forever be in our hearts…
