Linda (Key) Davis 79 of Halifax, died unexpectedly on Tuesday May 31. She was the beloved wife of over 50 years to Harold Davis.
Born in San Francisco, CA she was the daughter of the late William and Ruth (Baglow) Key.
Linda was a member of the first graduating class of Whitman-Hanson Regional High and furthered her education attending the University of Massachusetts.
For over thirty years Linda worked for the former Mullare News of Brockton and later for over seven years for TJ Max of Norwell.
Linda was a lifelong and active member of the First Congregational Church of Hanson where she taught Sunday School for fifty years. She was also active with the “Friends Group” of the Hanson Senior Center where she had served as president and assistant treasurer for the group.
In addition to her loving husband Harold, she is survived by her brother Andrew Key of Pembroke. She was predeceased by her brother Arthur Key and her step-brother the William Key.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Saturday June 4 at 11:00 AM in the First Congregational Church, High Street, Hanson. A collation will follow the service in the Fellowship Hall.
