Frances (Fran) MacDonald, born June 15, 1951, the second daughter of Roseanne and Francis, passed away peacefully on May 29, 2022. Fran graduated from Boston State College with a degree in elementary education. She spent many happy years teaching second grade in Canton, MA. Fran then worked in banking and then the law firm of Kearny & Gleason. From there she had the stimulating position as the assistant to the dean of development at the Harvard Law School. She then took a similar position at the development office at Boston University.
Fran was energetic, vivacious, funny, and enjoyed travel, good food, and times with friends and family. Beside her bed was a framed sign saying: “Get up, get dressed, show up, which she lived by.
Fran is survived by her sister Roseanne and brother-in-law, Arthur Berger.
There will be a private burial. Contributions in her memory can made to the Good
