Thomas James Lessard, 74, of Charlton, passed away in his home on May 21st, 2022. He is survived by his son Jeremy Matson, daughter Heather Iwaniuk and her husband Kurt, brother Michael Lessard and his wife Alice, niece Anne Brown and seven grandchildren. Thomas was born in Worcester, MA on August 21, 1948, to the late Ernest and Alice (Cashman) Lessard of Leicester.

Thomas graduated with the Class of ’66 from Leicester High and went on to serve his country as a Sergeant with the United States Marine Corps. Upon his honorable discharge in 1973, Thom continued his career in service by becoming an Officer with the Worcester Police Department. He served as a proud member of the WPD for 10yrs, only retiring due to an injury sustained while performing his duty.
