Mary W. (Conley) D’Amarino, age 94, of Brockton died May 26, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Louis D’Amarino for 54 years.
Mary was born and raised in Brockton a daughter of the late Owen and Mary (Leary) Conley and remained a lifelong resident of the city. In her younger years she worked at Shawmut Mills and Coats & Fields.
An avid candlepin bowler, Mary played on multiple women’s and mixed leagues over the years at Crescent Lanes, Maple Lanes and Viking Lanes. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and baking. She was active at St. Patrick Church helping with their cookbook, church bazaars and fundraisers. Mary also enjoyed watching soap operas, detective and game shows and golf tournaments.
Mary will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who was proud or her family’s accomplishments.
Mary was the mother of Lucy D’Amarino of Brockton, Louis D’Amarino and his wife Deborah of Bridgewater, Michael D’Amarino and his wife Gina of Raynham, Edward D’Amarino and his wife Mary of East Bridgewater and MaryLou D’Amarino of Brockton. She leaves 8 grandchildren: Christopher, Louis and his wife Katie, Benjamin, Lucia Rodney and her partner Steve Lewis, Edward, Jennifer and her husband Brendan Struble, Elizabeth, Joseph and Heather, and 10 great grandchildren: Brady, Louis, Grace, Ashley, Ava, Gage, Grant, Iollan, Hadley and the late Hudson. Mary was the sister of the late Kenneth, Clement, Philip, and Owen Conley and Helen Hallinan, Rita Kelleher, Anna Mack and Mildred Kelly.
Visitation will be in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (rte. 123) Brockton on Wednesday June 1, 2022 from 10-11am followed by a funeral service. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
