John F. Conway (“Jack”), age 88, of Medford, passed away on Wednesday, May 25. Born in the Mission Hill section of Boston on October 23, 1933, he was the cherished son of the late John and May Conway. He was the dear brother of the late Michael J. Conway (“Joe”) of Louisiana and the late William Conway (“Billy”) of Dedham.
Jack was the beloved husband of 61 years to Delores (Preziosi) Conway (“Dee”). He was the loving father of Lynn (Conway) Goodine and her husband David, Susan Conway, and Steven Conway. He was the cherished grandfather of John and Ryan Goodine. He also leaves an extended family that includes many loving nieces and nephews.
Jack graduated from Commerce High School. He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1953 to 1957 primarily in Europe. After a long career, he retired from Bentley University in 2004. Jack was active in sports and enjoyed traveling and visiting casinos.
Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main Street, Medford, on Thursday, June 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. A funeral Mass will follow in St. Raphael’s Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 11:00 a.m. and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
