Robert P. Sullo, age 76, of Somerville passed away on Wednesday, May 25th, at Hunt Nursing Home of Danvers, where he was well cared for. Raised and educated in East Boston and West Medford, he was the son of the late Marco and Caroline (Cianfrocca) Sullo. Robert lived most of his life in Somerville and was employed as a construction worker in his earlier years.
Robert enjoyed visiting the White Mountains as well as going to Revere Beach. He loved pizza and watching the Red Sox play. All who knew him will remember how his smile and laugh could light up a room.
Robert was the beloved husband of the late Eileen (Collings) Sullo, and the devoted father of Anthony Sullo of Marlborough and his fiancée Yvonne, and Jillian Costa and her husband Kevin of Woburn. He was the loving grandfather of David and Andrew Sullo, Alex and Tyler Costa, and Emma Oliveira. Robert was the cherished father-in-law of Nicole Sullo, and the dear brother of Richard Sullo and his wife Ali, Mark Sullo, and the late Adrienne and her husband Paul Stella. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral from Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, June 1st at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 31st from 4 through 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
