William S. Zinsmeister, 58, of Thornton Road, Londonderry, NH died Saturday August 3, 2002 at his home following a brief illness. He was born on October 31, 1943 in City Island, NY, a son of Jack and Alice (Taylor) Zinsmeister. He was a resident of Londonderry for 25 years, formerly living in Meriden, CT. He was a graduate of Mohawk Central School, and Mohawk Valley Technical Institute, both in Mohawk, NY. He served for four years with the US Air Force. He was employed as a Hardware Service Manager for GEAC Corp in Nashua. He enjoyed gardening, photography, woodworking and computers.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy (Tolpa) Zinsmeister, of Londonderry, two sons, William (Wife Shannon) Zinsmeister, of Baltimore, MD, Michael (Wife Katie) Zinsmeister, of Clifton, NJ, his mother Alice (Taylor) Zinsmeister, of Londonderry, one brother, Ted Tolpa, of Springfield, VA, two sisters, Maryann T. Young, of Rochester, NY, Debra Tolpa, of Springfield, VA, many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday August 8th at 10:00am at St. Mark’s Church, corner of Mammoth Road and South Road, Londonderry. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry. Friends may call at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry on Wednesday August 7th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Chernobyl Children’s Project, C/O St. Mark’s Church, One Griffin Road, Londonderry, NH 03053.
