Mr. Edward Paul Conners, a longtime resident of Andover, passed away at his home on Friday May 13, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Susan (Stephens) Conners, with whom he enjoyed 24 years of marriage.
Born in Medford, Massachusetts, he was the cherished son of the late Francis C. and Mary E. (Stapleton) Conners. Ed graduated from Medford High School in 1975 and attended UMass Boston. He had a career in the transportation industry and was employed as a General Manager for United Road Towing. Ed had a quick smile and was a kind and loyal friend to all. In his spare time, Ed enjoyed visiting Cape Cod and the mountains. He especially loved spending time with his family and many friends. Above all, Ed was a devoted husband and father. He will be dearly missed.
Besides his wife, Susan, Ed is survived by his loving children; Jeffrey Paul Conners, Lauren Amanda Conners and Timothy Edward Conners, all of Andover. He is also the brother of Rosemary and her husband Steven Adams of Reading and John and his wife Susan Conners of Medford. Ed is survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was the brother of the late Francis Conners.
His memorial service will be celebrated at South Church, 41 Central Street, Andover on Saturday June 11 at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend.
