Michael Mario Fiorio, 36, of Medfield , formerly of Walpole passed away May 25 at Brigham & Women’s Hospital Boston.
Born in Norwood, August 2, 1985, the son of Dino and Elaine (DeLutis) Fiorio of Medfield, Michael was raised in Walpole and had lived in Medfield for the past 14 years.
Michael had attended TriCounty High School and was a graduate of the Riverview School in Sandwich, where he became lifelong friends with William Mcllroy.
He loved gathering with family, especially during Christmas. He also enjoyed doing crafts and playing games. Michael was always ready for a game of cribbage and could often be found watching professional wrestling. He will be remembered most for his kind spirit and his exceptional sense of humor.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his sisters, Cassie Johnson and her husband Jason of Franklin and Gina Fiorio of Franklin, and his beloved cat, Vera.
He was the proud uncle of Joshua, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Mason, Drew and Cameron.
With great sadness, Michael also leaves behind many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins, as well as his YMCA family.
His graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 1 in Highland Cemetery, Norwood at 11:00a.m.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
