WEBSTER- Susan A. (Germain) Jarzabski, 70, died Monday, May 23, 2022, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare Worcester in the presence of her family. Her first husband Wilfred DiFusco died in 1978. Her second husband, Joseph Jarzabski, died in 2002.
She leaves a son, Daniel J. DiFusco and his fiance Nicole, and a daughter, Monique A. Coulson and her husband Joshua, all of Dudley; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Cafarelli, Alexandra Cafarelli, Chloe DiFusco, Jenna DiFusco, Ronan Coulson, and Kaiden Coulson; a sister, Jean Packard and her husband William of Charlton; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Marlene and Karen.
On November 10, 1951, she was born in Webster, the daughter of Raymond E. and Elodie G. (Bedard) Germain, and was raised in Oxford. She graduated from Oxford High School in 1969 and attend secretarial school. She had lived in Webster for over 50 years.
Mrs. Jarzabski worked in several secretarial positions within the Webster Schools System starting as an aid at Park Ave and then moving to several secretarial positions at Bartlett within the nurse's office, athletics office, vice-principals office, and principals offices. She finished her career as a secretary in the district central office until her retirement.
Sue was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church and a weekly adorer at the Blessed Sacrament Chapel since its inception. She was an exceptional cook and baker, she spent years cake decorating for family and friends, was known for her green thumb in the garden, and enjoyed ceramics, reading, and playing cards. Her grandchildren were her heart's treasure.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022, at 11:00 AM in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 16 East Main Street (please meet at the church). A time of visitation from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM will be held in the church that morning. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery then followed by a celebration of life gathering at Bistro Eighty Ates in Webster. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street.
