Obituary

LOWELL- Natalie Jean Eacrett, 7 years old, a first grade student in the city, died Saturday morning, May 6th, at her home following a life-long battle with Mitochondrial Disease.

She was born in Lowell on December 30, 1998, she was a daughter of Hope (Burnham) Eacrett and John H. Eacrett, IV, of Lowell who survive her.

Natalie attended Kids on Track Preschool in Lowell. She loved baking, gardening and Cinderella. Natalie also loved dearly her many caregivers at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and Tufts New England Medical Center Floating Hospital for Children.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother: Zachary J. Eacrett and a sister: Allison R. Eacrett, both of Lowell; her maternal grandmother: Maureen (Shaw) Burnham, of Lowell; her paternal grandparents: John H. Eacrett, III, of Dracut; and Diane (Scondras) Eacrett, of Hampton, NH; her maternal great-grandmothers: Mary L. (McGrath) Burnham, and Margaret (Conway) Shaw, both of Lowell; her paternal great-grandparents,:Dorothea (Corovos) Scondras, of Lowell; and John H. and Gertrude (Milinazzo) Eacrett, of Tyngsboro; her aunts and uncles: Kathleen (Flynn) Burnham and Derek and Gayle (Machado) Burnham, all of Lowell; Scott and Karen (DiGiovanni) Eacrett, of Pepperell; her cousins: Matthew, David and Abigail Burnham of Lowell. She also leaves many great-aunts and great-uncles and special friends Steve and Monique (McKinnon) Dumais, of Dracut.

Natalie was the granddaughter of the late Arthur W. Burnham and the niece of the late Arthur A. Burnham.
