Jeffrey T. Ray, 62, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Thursday, May 19, 2022, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Memorial services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Mr. Ray was born December 27, 1959, in Miami, Florida, to the late Isaac Corner and the late Thelma Lucille Burkhalter. He was a handyman and could work on most any equipment. He was an electrician and plumber and is perhaps best known for his work in appliance repair.
He is survived by a daughter, Christina Rowe & Justin of Lake Park; a son, Brandon Ray & Nina of Fitzgerald; a special step-daughter, Emily Rose Clayton of Fitzgerald; several grandchildren; three sisters: Frances Edmondson of Ray City, Patricia Sapp of Lakeland, and Sheryl Luke of Ray City; a brother, Paul & Tina Green of Ft. Pierce, Florida; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Cathy Clayton Ray and the mother of his children, Kimberly Darsey Ray.
