Kathleen Theresa Zirpolo, 79, of Derry NH, passed away peacefully Friday May 13, 2022 with her children by her side at Parkland Medical Center in Derry. She was born March 13, 1943 in Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Francis and Helen Sheahan. Kathleen was predeceased by her loving husband of 27 years, Frederick John Zirpolo. “Honey” as we all called her was kind, funny, full of life and loved her husband & family with all her heart.
Honey was always surrounded by her five children, 13 grandchildren & 10 great grandchildren. She is one of five sisters, Barbara Ryan, Jean Piantedosi, Frannie Falter, Noreen Ventolieri, and never too far away was best friend, Mildred Champoux. Honey made some of the best sauce, chicken cutlets and apple pie that never lasted long in her house. Family gatherings were large loud, full of laughter and “hugabugga” kisses. If you were sick you took your “Medameda” to make you feel “Bettabetta”. Many fond memories at the camp in Plymouth, NH, swimming at Steven & Gigi’s house, Christmas extravaganza at Freddie & Tori’s, Easter at Richie & Pam’s, and vacationing in Ft. Myers Beach Florida.
Honey enjoyed spending time with all her loves big & small. She leaves behind her daughter, Denise Snyder, and her husband Kevin of Derry, their three daughters, Deanna Sorensen and her husband Corey and their son Nolan (11 months) of Auburn, NH, Devann Kathleen and her son Colton Nusbaum (2) of Derry, and their youngest daughter, Kathleen of Derry, who is currently attending college at SNHU; her son, Richard Tibbetts and wife Pamela of Epping, NH, their three sons, Robert Tibbetts and his wife Jessica, their two sons, Grant (10), and Luke (6) of Barrington, NH, Joseph Tibbetts and his wife Ashely, their three daughters, Gretchen (5), Frankie (2), and Harriet (3 months) of Epping, NH, and their youngest son, Patrick Tibbetts of Colorado, who just got out of the Army; her son, Steven Tibbetts and wife Gigi of Goffstown, NH, their three children, Jonathan Fauteux, and his wife Samantha, their two children, Autumn (7), Austin (2) of Weare, NH, Jessica O’Neill and her daughter, Rylee Bernard (7) of Goffstown NH, and Stephanie Tibbetts of Laconia, NH; her daughter, Kathleen Zirpolo Bolduc and her two children, Dominique Bolduc, and Isabella Bolduc of Derry; her son, Frederick Zirpolo Jr., and his wife Tori Lynne, their two daughters, Audrina (11), and Emmalina (10) of Bow, NH.
Following cremation, the family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, is assisting the family with arrangements.
