Joanna Elaine Norman, 42, of Tifton passed away at Southwell Medical Center in Tifton on Friday, May 13, 2022 A graveside funeral service will be held for Ms. Norman at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Vickers Church Cemetery in Berrien Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest. The Rev. Keith Norris will officiate.
Joanna was born on May 7, 1980, to Joey and Elaine Norman in Tifton. Joanna attended Tift County High and graduated in 1999. She loved music and surfing the web. Joanna also loved animals, especially her neighbor’s dog, Patches. She enjoyed listening to the birds singing outside her window. Joanna was born with spina bifida. Her longevity was due to the love and care of her mother.
Joanna is survived by her mother, Elaine Norman of Tifton; one brother, Christopher Norman of Athens; one sister and brother-in-law, Renee and Tim Crowe of Tifton; a nephew, Matthew Yarbrough of Tifton; a niece, Maci Roberson and her husband, Thom of Tifton; her aunt and uncle, Pat and Jim Howell of Tifton; and a great-niece, Marleigh Roberson.
