Alexandria Mary Tobias, beloved daughter of the late Mary Ellen (Campbell) Tobias of South Lawrence, MA and Owen Lawler of Maine, passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022. She was 40 years old.
Born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, on May 17, 1981. Alexandria graduated from Greater Lawrence Regional Vocational Technical High School with a concentration in data processing and attended UMASS Lowell majoring in Psychology with a minor in Philosophy. Alexandria emulated a sweet calm presence and was well loved by family and friends. Alex was a gifted scrapbooker and gave many of her crafts to family members that will be forever treasured. Alexandria had many interests in school including playing soccer and was a member of the political science club. Alexandria will be fondly remembered for her organizational abilities. Alexandria loved the fourth of July and the Red Sox. Alexandria had more than her share of hardships in life but never gave up hope for herself or others. Alexandria was very happy when her grandson, Dior was born on her birthday.
Alexandria is survived by her long-time companion, Lawrence Jenkins, of Lynn, MA. Sons; Alexander Tobias- Briere of Desert Hot Springs, CA and Aleky Medina-Tobias of New Bedford, MA sisters Kathy Dearden and her husband Keith Dearden of Salem, NH, sister; Lisa Hancock and her husband, Ralph Hancock of Bradford, MA, sister; Annie Courcelle and her husband James Courcelle of Rutland, VT and sister Cheryl Jackson and her husband Benjamin Jackson of Denver, NC. Alexandria leaves her grandson, Dior Tobias-Briere, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Alexandria leaves her beloved late grandparents, Eleanor and Alexander Campbell and beloved late great grandmother Helen Van Doorne.
