Cynthia Pike Tucker, 81, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Friday, May 13, 2022, at Dorminy Medical Center in Fitzgerald, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Sunday, May 15, 2022, at The Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Steve Hand and Kenneth Pike officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mrs. Tucker was born April 22, 1941, in Manchester, Georgia, to the late Jesse & Annie O’Neal Pike. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from the Osceola Nursing Home. Mrs. Tucker loved helping people, playing the piano, writing songs, making crafts, and teaching Sunday School. She had a servant’s heart. Mrs. Tucker was a member of Mt. Olive Baptist Church.
She is survived by her two daughters: Terri Lynn Tucker and Tina Sapp & Kevin, all of Fitzgerald and her siblings: Kenneth Pike & Beverly, Johnny Pike & Judy, Sue McDaniel & Billy and Beverly Pike. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Tucker; and siblings: Eloise Oakes, Joyce Creech, Annette Hargis, Shirley Hughes and Wade Pike.
