Bruce M. D'Antona, of Everett, passed away on Thursday, May 12th. He was 73. He was the cherished son of the late Leonard and Amalia (Dollois) D'Antona. A natural people person, Bruce loved everyone, and they loved him. His sense of humor, generosity, caring personality, love of life and his ability to help anyone made him one of a kind.
Bruce was an epitome of a family man and friend. He was always just a phone call away, if you needed him no matter what time or where you were he was on his way. Bruce looked forward to going out to eat, sipping on his daily Starbuck’s iced black coffee, watching the Patriots game, and sharing Sunday dinners with his sister in law Kathy. He was a dedicated husband, the best dad, brother and friend. He will be greatly missed by all.
Bruce was the beloved husband of Patricia (Ruscitti) D’Antona. He was the devoted father of Gabrielle D’ Antona and her loving companion Marko Montalto and Gregory D’Antona and his wife Annalisa D’Antona. He was the loving grandfather of 3. He was the dear brother of Sheryle, Rita, Roberta, Kathy, Joseph, Joey, Leo and Harvey D’ Antona. He was the caring brother in-law of Kathy Ruscitti and the late Barbara Ruscitti and Shirley Vinciarelli. He was the proud owner of Ozzie his cat. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, On Thursday, May 19th, at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Anthony Church, 38 Oakes St., Everett at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 - 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
