Carmelo Migliore, passed away in the Beth Israel - Deaconess Medical Center, Boston on Saturday morning after a brief illness. The husband of Nancy (Rinallo) Migliore he was ninety-one years old.
Born and raised in Sicily, he was the son of the late Antonio and Graziella (Cassaro). Formerly of the West End of Boston, he was a Somerville resident for over 48 years.
Carmelo was a baker by profession and worked for many years at the Cassaro Bakery of Medford before his retirement.
Surviving in addition to his wife Nancy are two daughters, Grace Migliore and Nora Fulgone and her husband Arthur both of Somerville, two sons Anthony and his wife Josephine of Malden and Vincent and his wife Carol of Somerville. Also five loving grandchildren and one loving great granddaughter.A brother Vincent Migliore and a sister Elizabeth Cassaro both of Somerville.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Tuesday, August 6 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Catherine of Genoa Church 179 Summer St. Somerville at 11:30. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with entombment at Holy Cross Community Mausoleum, Malden.
