Raymond Charles Horsley, was born on December 29, 1994, to Raymond Horsley and Terry Collins, and also shared his life with Robert J Barr. On May 3rd at approximated 1:08 am at Boston Medical Center, Boston Massachusetts, where he quietly passed away while surrounded by loved ones.
At an early age he was diagnosed with sickle cell anemia and endured many long and short stays in the hospital with his parents and grandmother always by his side. That’s just how special he was to everyone.
Raymond graduated from West Roxbury High school in the top 25% of his class and was given a full scholarship to any college of his choice. He enjoyed reading nonfiction books, playing video games, and recreational activities with his cousins. Raymond was preceded in death by a host of family members and leaves behind his parents, sisters, brothers, grandparents, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephew, nieces and a host of family and friends.
This is a pain that we all will have to endure, but at the same time we know that he will never be sick again.

Visiting hours will be held at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston, Tuesday from 10:00-12:00p.m.. Interment services to follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Jamaica Plain.
