Michael R. Gebo, age 48, passed away on May 8, 2022. He was born on Oct. 6, 1973 in Springfield, a son of the late James T. and Barbara (Nareau) Gebo. Michael worked as a customer service rep for the Baps Auto paint supply store. He was a member of the Melha Shrine Clowns Unit and loved helping others. He is survived by his loving wife Melinda (Sibley) Gebo of Chicopee; 3 daughters, Samantha Gebo and Hallie Gebo of Chicopee and Kaylena Sibley of Springfield; 2 brothers, James and Richard Gebo of Springfield; 2 sisters, Denise Gebo of Springfield and Deborah Nicholas of Springfield; 1 grandson Dustin Sibley; his beloved K9 companion, Rocky along with many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will miss him dearly. Calling hours will be held on Monday, May, 16, 2022 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Children's Hospital, 516 Carew St Springfield, MA 01104.
