Jeffrey W. Towne, 65, of Derry, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday May 8, 2022, in Parkland Medical Center of Derry. He was born on November 14, 1956, in Lawrence, MA, a son of Charles and Helen (Misserville) Towne.
Jeffrey was a loving and sacrificial husband, father, and friend to all who knew him. What mattered most to him was his faith in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and he was always eager to share the gospel of Jesus with everyone he met.
Some of the things Jeffrey enjoyed include spending time with his family, playing tennis, hiking, going to the gym, studying his Bible, trying new food places, listening to music, and spending time to pray for dozens of people each day. Whatever he did, he did whole heartedly and passionately. He finished whatever he started, was never late to an appointment, and responded to messages and missed phone calls quickly.
Jeffrey graduated from Andover High School, (Andover, MA), Calvary Bible College, (Kansas City, MO.) and spent 2 years at Grace Theological Seminary (Winona Lake Indiana). He worked for the United States Post Office in New Hampshire for over 25 years. He was a dedicated employee and developed many relationships with his colleagues.
Jeffrey was not materialistic, but showed great value to God’s Word and the teaching of it. His continuous message was always something like this; “Do not live for the things of this world but rather for the things of eternity.” He is finally getting to experience his beautiful dwelling place in his Father’s house that Jesus has prepared for him (John 14:1-3) and the treasures in heaven that he has invested in for his entire Christian life. (Matthew 6:19-20).
He is survived by his wife, Maha (Saghbini) Towne of Derry; two sons, Rechab Towne of Derry, NH, and Gilead Towne of Salem, NH; two daughters, Nadia Cabinta of Texas and Cedar LeDuc of Londonderry, NH; twelve grandchildren, Esther, Isaac, Jeremiah, Ethan, Caresse, Simon, Olivia, Landon, Sophia, Eunice, Priscilla, and Josephine; four brothers, Charlie Towne, Randy Towne, Douglas Towne, and Doug Lane; two sisters, Barbara Tropeano and Christine Petrucci; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday May 21, 2022, at 10:00am in the Heritage Baptist Church, 108 Rockingham Road, Windham, NH. A private burial will be in the West Parish Garden Cemetery, 129 Reservation Road, Andover. MA. In lieu of flower, memorial contributions may be made by check to Heritage Baptist Church with a memo of Jeffrey Towne.
