Margaret J. Fiske, 81

Margaret J. (Fuller) Fiske, age 81, a lifelong resident of Mansfield, passed away, in the presence of her loving family, on Friday, May 6, 2022 at the Maples Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Wrentham. She was the beloved wife and best friend of the late Howard R. Fiske, Jr., to whom she was wed for fifty-nine years at the time of his death on March 3, 2018.
Born in Saratoga Springs, New York on December 11, 1940, she was a loving daughter of the late Howard M. and Jane M. (Sweet) Fuller.
Margaret grew up in Mansfield and was a 1958 graduate of Mansfield High School. She was a dedicated homemaker to her adoring family, who were truly the essence of her life. Margaret enjoyed knitting, sewing and the wonderful memories created on the many cruises taken with her late husband Howie.
She is survived by her devoted children: Retired Mansfield Fire Department Captain Richard H. Fiske and his wife Andrea of Mansfield, Susan J. Guthrie and her husband Steven of Mansfield, Sandra J. Smith and her husband Wayne of Mansfield and Ronald W. Fiske and his wife Kim of Attleboro. She was the cherished and proud grandmother of Daniel and his wife Michelle, Emilee and her companion Brian, Katelyn, Andrew and USAF Senior Airman Kyle. She was the sister of Roger Fuller and his wife Gina of Lewiston, Maine, the late John Fuller and Stephen Fuller and is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, May 11th from 10:00 A.M.-12:00 Noon at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main Street, Mansfield.
A funeral service will follow the visiting hours on Wednesday at 12:00 Noon in the funeral home, followed by burial at the Spring Brook Cemetery in Mansfield.
In lieu of flowers, Margaret’s family has requested that donations in her memory be made to the Mansfield Ambulance Fund, 500 East Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.
