
SALEM - Mary J. (Ring) Pariseau, 87, formerly of Salem, wife of the late Arthur H. Pariseau, died Thursday evening, May 4, 2006 at the Essex Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Beverly, following a brief illness.
Born and raised in Peabody, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary J. (Barbrick) Ring and was a graduate of Peabody High School.
Prior to her retirement in 1978, she was employed at Parker Bros. Games in Salem for over 10 years. A resident of Salem for over 50 years before going into a nursing home, Mary was a parishioner of the St. Thomas The Apostle Church, Peabody for most of her life, and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Mrs. Pariseau is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Richard & Pat Pariseau of Scarborough, ME, Robert & Lynne Pariseau of Bradford, ME, 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce & Richard Gillis of Ipswich, Joanne & Sean O’Leary of Easthampton, Janet & Michael Nocek of Portland, CT, 12 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Joseph Ring of Lynn and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 1 sister, Margaret Corthell and 3 brothers, Francis, John and William Ring.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, May 8, 2006 at 9 am from the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem, followed by a funeral Mass at 10 am at the St. Thomas The Apostle Church, on Route 114 at the Salem - Peabody line. Visiting hours are Sunday, 2 to 6 pm. Burial is in Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
